Integrated Fixed Assets Management

Any type of Fixed Asset can be tracked and accounted for with a level of detail defined by the user. The application fully integrates with Infor ERP VISUAL Financials.

AutoFlush

AutoFlush identifies all work orders where the work order was closed, yet there were incomplete labour and/or material transactions reported to it. You then have the ability to have AutoFlush create those incomplete transactions - both labour and/or materials.

Work Order Receipt Processor (WORP)

When run, WORP will evaluate all labour tickets created since the last run, and identify which labour tickets were done on a final operation of a work order. It will then automatically create a work order receipt into inventory for the quantity claimed on the labour ticket (it will use the part's primary warehouse/location).

Work Order Priority Manager

The Priority Manager provides users with increased flexibility and control in managing their changing work order priorities.  Using the Priority Manager Window, the Planner can easily establish the priority of work orders or groups of work orders by selecting attributes from the VISUAL database..  This could include colour, size, or material type and therefore help to minimise set-up change overs.

Multi-Database Part Sync

This program will keep the Parts database in sync in between two Visual Manufacturing databases.  Permissions can be applied to only accept changes in specified directions.  Program can be run automatically without user review or with review.

 

Engineering Master Update Utility (Engineering / Manufacturing)

This program allows you to specify an engineering master and find all instances of other engineering masters where this part was used as a leg. Those instances can be updated to match the structure of the specified engineering master.

 

Department Rename Utility (Admin)

This simple utility allows you to safely and thoroughly rename a department in Visual Manufacturing. All references to the department ID will be updated within Visual, ensuring data integrity.

 

Manufacturing Window Notation Maintenance
(Engineering / Manufacturing)

This application is a powerful replacement to the notations screen that exists within the Manufacturing Window. Easily browse for notations, add, edit, delete, and print using integration with Logicity.

 

Previous Material Surcharging (Sales)

Using this utility, you can automatically apply advanced surcharges to your orders at the time of shipment. For example, a copper or fuel surcharge. You start off by defining your precious materials in Part Maintenance by marking a user defined field of your choice with the letter ‘P’. The unit price for this field will be the surcharge amount and two other user defined fields can be specified as multiplers and adders (described later). For easy maintenance, we include a custom screen to update all of your defined surcharges in one place.

 

Part Specifications Import Utility (Inventory)

This utility allows you to mass update your Part specifications from an Excel input file.

 

Lot Location Transfer Screen (Inventory)

For sites that use part traceability, doing location transfers can be a tedious process. Using this custom version of the location transfer screen you can move your lots with ease by simply entering the lot ID, selecting where you wish to move it from, and where you move it to.

 

Material Issue Staging (Inventory)

This screen is designed for sites that use part traceability and is designed to be a more efficient process to issue lots to a work order as material requirements. The staging functionality allows you to allocate your lots to a specific work order in advance of the actual issuing process.

 

Packlist Staging (Sales)

This utility is optimised for sites that use part traceability, but can be used without as well. It is designed to allow you to “stage” a packlist, meaning that you define the shipment just like you would in the shipping entry window in advance of the actual shipment. The benefits of this are that you can print all of your documents and allocate inventory without generating the shipment (which would cause an inventory move in Visual). When you are ready to turn this into a real packlist you simply click the Generate button.

 

Order Allocation Check Utility (Sales)

This utility runs in Order Entry and checks that you have enough non-allocated quantities to fulfill the order before allowing you to save. Further, if another order with a later due date has allocated quantities, it allows you to “steal” the allocation from that other order.

 

Price Adjuster (Sales)

This interface allows for more efficient management of customer and market pricing in Visual. A variety of search criteria options allow you to locate a set of records you wish to update and apply relative price changes to all matches.

 

Work Order to MS Project Exporter (Engineering / Manufacturing)

This utility will export a Work Order structure in Visual to MS Project format for further manipulation.

 

Automatic Co-Product Receipts (Inventory)

This is a Windows service that watches for work order receipts and, when found, will automatically receive any co-products associated with the work order. Great for BTS users.

 

Logicity for Visual Manufacturing (Reporting)

This package allows you to run Crystal Reports directly from within Visual Manufacturing and pass screen data into the reports to generate context specific data. For example, if you were in Customer Order Entry with an order up you can call up Logicity, choose the report you want to view (i.e. Customer Order Acknowledgement), and when it comes up the report will be for that specific order. A handful of Crystal Reports are included with this software.

 

Logicity Automatic Invoicing (Accounting)

This application is built on top of the Logicity package (www.logicitysuite.com) and is used to automatically generate e-mailed or printed invoices out of Visual Manufacturing. To use this product you define the customers you wish to have invoices automatically delivered, specify the way they wish to have the invoices delivered (e-mail, print) and the format (PDF, Excel, Word, etc.). Then, any time an invoice is created in Visual for this customer the invoice will automatically be delivered according to the customers preferences.

 

SaberNet DCS for Visual Manufacturing (Labour)

This time and attendance package is basically a vastly more efficient user interface for generating labor tickets in Visual. Similar to Wedge, but it is highly optimized for quick user interaction with barcode optimizations and efficient touch screen functionality.

 

Bar Coded Labor Ticket Entry (Labour)

This application is a custom version of the labor ticket entry screen optimized for barcode input. You start by scanning your employee bar code and your default department ID will be input as well (you can change it if you like). Next you select the tab appropriate for the labor ticket type (run, setup, or indirect). Next you scan the bar code for the work order or indirect code, fill in your elapsed hours and any other desired fields, and click Submit to save the labor ticket. As you scan bar code fields the focus is automatically moved to the next field making it very quick and efficient to scan in bar code data or enter by hand. This application does not require any Wedge licensing.

 

12-Month Gross Profit by Preferred Vendor (Reporting)

This application creates a rolling 12-month gross profit report by preferred vendor ID (from part maintenance) and customer ID (from the customer order). The resulting data is automatically opened in Excel for analysis.
